Attention Association Members ~
The Chisago Lakes Hockey Association will be holding our annual Anonymous Santa Toy Drive again this year and Kim LaBarre will be organizing the even. THANK YOU Kim, for all your efforts in organizing this worthwhile program! The toy collection will take place at the arena on Sunday, December 7th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Kim LaBarre will be putting together a poster with the times and will have it up at the arena, for everyone's reference. Kim will also have applications for any family members in our association who may need to use this program to have a good Christmas for their family. For more information, please contact Kim LaBarre at 257-6329.
The Anonymous Santa Toy Drive is open to all Association members and we encourage all families to consider donating toys; hats and mittens, to this worthwhile program, so that families in our community can have a good Christmas this year. Toy donations should be new and unwrapped and the value per toy should not exceed $20.00. New hats and mittens will also be accepted.
We will also need volunteers to help unload a semi trailer with totes of toys and to set up for distribution. This is a great way for a team to help and give back to the community. For more information, please contact Kim LaBarre at 257-6329.
Mite Toy Drive Contest:
We will be holding our Mite toy collection contest again this year. The 2 Mite teams, who have the most number of toy donations, will get to play in the Little Wildcats games vs... the High School! The Little Wildcat games will be held Wednesday, December 31st, with Game 1 at 12:50 p.m. and Game 2 at 2:00 p.m Those families who have had their Mites participate in the Little Wildcat games in the past, know what an exciting event this is for our Mite players to play a game vs. the High School team!!! It is very memorable for both the players and the parents!
Mite families ~ When dropping off your toys, please let Greg and Jeni Route know your total number of toys donated and for which Mite team. The total toys will be tallied and the 2 winning Mite teams will get to play in the Little Wildcat games on December 31st!
Again, we encourage all families to consider donating toys to this worthwhile program, so that families in our community can have a good Christmas this year!
If you should have any questions, or if you are interested in volunteering as an individual, or as a team, please contact Kim LaBarre at 257-6329.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
